I am hoping to create a more flexible and exciting learning environment that will cater to all students with different needs. I understand that despite rigorous course expectations we cannot expect children to sit in a regular desk setting for eight hours a day. I am wanting to utilize flexible seating to all my students. I will use this during our literacy and math center time. (This is a small group atmosphere.) Every day the children will have the opportunity to use one of the many options provided. I also understand that learning goes beyond paper and pencil. I want to incorporate more project based learning in my weekly lesson plans. Unfortunately, I cannot provide all the materials due to costs. I want the children to have the opportunity to have the material we are learning to come to life.
