I teach Behavioral Students from K-3 grade. My students have many different personalities/characteristics that enable them to control their behaviors at times. They benefit from having sensory items to help them calm down when they become very agitated or upset in any way. Sensory objects are very beneficial to them. They love using different objects such as stress balls, sensory bins, weighted blankets and soft seating. These things can assist a child with behavior concerns greatly which then allows them to return to their learning. Your help in anything for our classroom would be greatly appreciated!
