I have chosen the Chromebooks for my students because it would help them stay more engaged in their learning and for some of them it would keep them less-disruptive. I want my students to become 21st Century learners and technology increases this for my students. I also chose a laptop for my classroom, so I can present information to my students in whole group discussion. In my classroom, we rotate every twenty minutes to stay engaged, and Chrome Books would add a different dynamic to our rotations. Where they are based on apps, students would be more involved and complete projects in a different manner. As a teacher, I have researched Chromebooks and I feel that they would help my students (especially those that aren't easily motivated) become excited about learning again. I hope our classroom is considered through this organization. I know we would be greatly appreciative!
