The full funding of this project will mean that students will receive relatable reading books at their independent levels for their assessed learning needs. Students will be able to read these texts in class and also from home as we continue in a hybrid learning model due to Covid-19 restrictions. Texts that students can confidently read and comprehend will encourage family sharing and entice students to read to their loved ones at home during days of distance learning. During days of in-person teaching, students will read independently on their reading mats in lieu of group centers.
