Flexible seating in my classroom will enhance my student centered classroom. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make choices that work best for them. I have introduced a sneak-peak to flexible seating in my classroom with items such as yoga balls, floor pillows, and stools. My students love center time and have proven that they are far more engaged when they can choose where they want to learn. Flexible seating is shown to increase focus and motivation. The products I have chosen will allow my students to grow and become more independent learners. The Flex-Space Wobble Chair bundle will be used at the teacher table for small group instruction. My students are frequently fidgeting and losing focus at the teacher table. These seats are adjustable and will be an excellent option for those students that have a difficult time sitting still. This addition will surely help increase engagement during my small group instruction. The Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats and Wobble Cushions will be provided as a choice during center time. Having these choices will have a positive impact on my students' behavior and engagement!
