As part of our life cycles unit, our class is hoping to have the opportunity to hatch duck eggs! During the unit, we learn a lot of about the life cycles of different creatures, but nothing could compare to watching it happen in our own classroom! The kids will get to learn so much from seeing a life cycle from the beginning. Over the time the duck eggs are incubating, students will get to check and see which eggs are growing properly and learn about the different steps essential to taking care of the eggs, like checking the temperature, humidity, and turning the eggs. Hopefully, we will end up with quite a few little ducklings to show for all of our hard work!
