By implementing a document camera into my distance learning, my students will be able to learn with step-by-step instruction. My students already have an unfair advantage in academics but with using a doc cam, I will be able to close the achievement gap! Document cameras may seem unnecessary but the doc cam works like a whiteboard. It is an electronic camera that will record anything I write down on a piece of paper. Students learn by seeing and then doing. With the document camera, they can see the example, do the problem, and then together we can work the problem out. It is also amazing for 3D objects during science lessons! The students will be able to use their visual learning.
