The items we are requesting are: earbuds, a mini fridge, a printer, USB flash drives, a Keurig, and an Amazon Fire Tablet. These materials will go to students who have been accepted into a college or university to help make their college dream more affordable. My students may receive scholarships to help fund their tuition but do not have the means to buy dorm items themselves. By giving them these items, it will alleviate the financial stress our students might have when it comes to gathering funds for college. The students don't need to stress about the little things, when they are already stressed about their grades, meals, and housing costs. By helping cut these costs, we can help take a little bit of stress off of their shoulders. Most of our students are first-generation and we want to help them succeed in their life changing endeavors.
