I am always looking for leveled reading materials that can help them become better readers. Leveled books help them gain self-esteem and self-efficacy. Unfortunately, I am a new teacher, and I haven't built a good library yet. Now more than ever our students need to grow self-efficacy. In the classroom, I saw students become more confident with independent reading, even though at the beginning of the year, some expressed that they couldn't read. Soon they found out that they could actually read. I found their reading levels and we worked from there. My students weren't scared of books anymore. I want them to feel this success at home with physical copies of leveled books that I could lend them. I want them to read to their families. I want my students to read to their parents and their siblings.
