This lesson activity will deal with Interaction and Force, Motion with a continuous force and delve into Speed , Velocity and Acceleration. These concepts can often times be hard and confusing for a student.However , with this equipment they can make the connections by having hands on experience and help them understand this standard better. This activity will discuss Newtons Laws of Motion and give hands on ways for the students to apply that knowledge.We can use the track and cart to see how interactions affect the motion of the cart. We can use the chart boards to share in groups our findings. We can use the graph paper for graphing the results. We can use the calipers to measure the distances of motion. The lessons will take several class times to complete but will give relevant examples to relate the activity to the student. The lesson will have several essential questions that the students will actively be able to test with the equipment and use graphs and charts to help explain. " How is an objects motion affected by a force? How are speed , velocity and acceleration related? and How do combinations of forces affect the velocity of an object?" The students will use this equipment to get a better grasp of Force and Motion.
