This is my second year coaching and my girls' and boys' wrestling team are filled with enthusiastic students who show up to practice every day. Resources are scarce and some student-athletes aren't able to play because we don't have enough sneakers or headgear. Providing proper attire such as shirts and shorts while practicing and competing makes a huge difference in performance since we practice so often and it makes it more comfortable and durable for student-athletes. Sneakers are important because of form on the mats when wrestling. If we have more sneakers, more students would join the wrestling team as well! Headgear and hair covers provide protections for girls and boys. Thank you so much for your consideration.
