Preschool students are at a perfect age to benefit from using STEM activities. Students at this age have a natural curiosity about the world around them, and would greatly benefit from this kit. These types of activities help children observe, experiment and use critical thinking skills. The Three Little Pig activity promotes literacy as well as experimentation and critical thinking. The students read the story, and then try to construct a house that will keep the pigs safe. By donating to our project, you will help students gain valuable STEM skills that will lay the foundation for success in the areas of critical thinking, math and science. Students who have the exposure to hands-on, critical thinking activities show greater engagement and on-task behavior. My students will greatly benefit from the opportunity to experience the many different varieties of activities that are available in this kit. This STEM kit will provide many different hours of experimental and critical thinking activities.
