These tablets and headphones will build scholars' literacy engagement by giving them access to texts in visual and audio form. They will also be used for independent reading projects. Our public library system has recently launched a program to give students free access to audiobooks, eBooks and educational streaming content. With this access students will have unlimited access to a variety of books! Scholars will have the freedom to choose their own books giving them more opportunities to enjoy independent reading time! My scholars are avid readers and opening their literary world and exposing them to more texts will only foster a more personal love of reading!
