It is necessary for my students to keep up with the latest advancements in education. Our district has requested that we add STEAM into our daily instruction in conjunction with NGSS. In the ever changing world of education, we have an increasing demand for more supplies. With a large district it is hard to get enough materials into individual classrooms. Through hands on activities that are engineered to be stimulating and mind provoking, this STEAM kit helps develop not only a concrete learning experience, but an insight into what they are capable of achieving at a young age. The hope is that they see themselves as scientists, technologists, engineers, artists and mathematicians.
