Exercise is a way for people to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Physical activity can help with learning. Sports and other physical activities provide natural opportunities to practice and develop social skills. The items we have requested will allow students of all ability levels to participate in physical activity. Many of our students have autism or related diagnoses. Many of our students have mobility difficulties. These items will allow all these students to participate in physical activities. Some of the items will also allow students with sensory differences to have the sensory input/ output they need to be at their best throughout the day. The exercise balls requested will allow our students with sensory differences an opportunity to receive sensory input through physical activity. They will also allow our students with limited mobility to participate in physical activities. The Sports Set will allow our students to participate in physical activities, create healthy habits, and promote positive social skills.
