As a School Counselor, one of my goals is to help students be successful by developing a comprehensive school counseling program around the three domains: academic, college and career and social/emotional development.
In order to help my 11th and 12 grade students prepare for college and beyond, I run a number of weekly groups where I teach them how to write a resume and an effective cover letter, we also do role play in preparing them for job interviews.
My students will utilize the tables to research jobs/career paths, apply to colleges and complete their FASFA applications, work on their resumes and a host of other activities which will help them prepare for the world beyond high school.
We will use the color printer to prepare documents surrounding these activities and special projects.
