My class and I are so thankful to be back to school, learning in person, after the experience of school-site shutdowns and distance learning to help slow the spread of COVID-19. The students are so happy to be with their classmates and teacher, and they love the routine of going to school everyday. Our school district has been very supportive and proactive in getting our kiddos back to in person learning. However, there are a few improvements that could be made. The current partitions on our students' desks are extremely hard to see through and we would love to upgrade the quality of our partitions. We recently received 4 folding tables to take learning outdoors. We would to have stacking stools that we could take outside to sit on. Our school is located at the base of the Mendocino Mountains in the foothills of Elk Creek, California. It is an absolutely beautiful setting. We would love to be able to do lessons, art and other activities in the sunshine!
