We have an aging life skills room and would like to upgrade and add major appliances. We are in a low income area (full free lunch school) and have only a few aging appliances (washer and dryer do not work, refrigerator barely), not working (range), and missing (dishwasher). Our students primary educational goals are job skills and independent living skills. Without working appliances they simply will not have the opportunity they need to work on skills in using appliances. The ability to be able to do what many of us take for granted on a daily basis is a really big deal for our students.

About my class
