The students use the pencils, dry erase markers and paper for every class but we use the tape to construct labs, station activities, and breakouts. The materials I am requesting will help students focus on their learning in the day-to-day environment instead of focusing on how they will secure school supplies. With the right supplies, the students decide how they learn and how they process for the majority of my classes. These supplies, along with my existing supplies, will give them the flexibility to design the lesson the way they want it. This increases student engagement and student ownership of their learning.
