If we all have a book to work with while we are reading "The Crossover", then we will be able to track narrative elements (ie. characters, setting, events, vocabulary, figurative language etc..) directly in our books with sticky notes! We loved being able to have our own books last quarter when we read, "Bud, Not Buddy". Right now we only have 16 books and 34 students and it's much easier to engage in a text when everyone has their own to work with (instead of sharing it between two classes). Our whole class would greatly appreciate a 1 to 1 ratio with our reading materials! We also need Post-it Notes. Thank you! The MSRE 6th Graders
