This would help teach the kids about how to control there body. I will use this after I teach the students how balance movements. The balance beam would then be used after they demonstrated the ability to balance on the ground . After the introduction of balancing class, students will then demonstrate the skills on the gym floor. We will then go over them while on the balance beam one at a time. When the students are comfortable with balancing on the beam, we will play a game of Simon says while using some of the balancing skills that they learned.
