These materials will assist students in being able to calm down and take a much needed break when necessary. It's very important to keep students in class for most of their instructional time as possible. Using classroom "Calm Down" areas we can greatly decrease class disruptions and sending students to visit other teachers for a 'chill out period'. I feel these additional items will be very beneficial to our "Calm Down" areas! Our students will not be taking any of the items home as they will remain in the classroom in the "Calm Down" area.

About my class
