I would love to be able to give the opportunity for students to have some active and engaging math centers time during our school day. Math Centers would give my students the opportunity to explore with manipulatives in a math center rotation routine. The math manipulatives from Lakeshore Learning directly help students in the area of counting, addition, subtraction, and sorting/comparing numbers. I have tried to make or buy as many center options as possible but I would love the opportunity to give my students more choices that are directly related to what we are learning as a class. These centers would provide students a hands on learning experience that I truly believe they would enjoy and learn from. In giving students a choice and more center opportunities they are able to take ownership in their learning and I believe this will help us grow even more!
