The materials will help students as they complete reading literacy projects through problem based learning assignments. The resources of the printer ink and printer paper is used when students print their typed writing assignment. The scissors, highlighters, glue sticks and colored paper will be used in the project part of the presentation. The classroom wall charts are used as motivation to encourage students as they work on their project. Students may not be able to do everything yet, but they will. Many students are in need of (SEL) Social and Emotional Learning so when they can't afford the materials there are people like DonorsChoose to help us make their learning experience successful. The lessons for this project is real life based project where they make a difference by solving real life issues in the classroom to help the community. They will be persuading others to purchase their item, informing others about different things, or explaining for others to see things their way for change. PIE is Persuade, Inform or Explain with the Author's Purpose in English class.
