Neil Gaiman says that a book is a dream that you hold in your hand. Truer words were never spoken. Reading is one of the highlights of the day for many kids and my kids are no exception. Curling up with a good book can open the entire world for a child. We are asking for engaging books, as well as bookshelves that were damaged during Hurricane Michael. These items will help me and my team teachers rebuild our reading centers and get our current books off the floor where they currently reside. These kids have been through a lot in the past several weeks and they really need your help getting back on their feet. One family has had to drive from out of state every single day just to get their little girl to my classroom. They are honestly trying to do the best they can. Help us make their burden a little lighter by providing us with these much needed materials.
