Having headphones in class would allow my students to engage in a math program, ZEARN. ZEARN is aligned with our math curriculum, Engage NY or Eureka Math. These headphones will allow my students to work as independent learners. While reinforcing the curriculum, allowing advanced students to go beyond the class instruction, and to challenge each student at his or her independent level. Wouldn't you feel special and top notch if you entered a classroom where you were able to participate in the instruction as a class and then break off into groups and allowed to have your very own set of headphones while the teacher worked with small groups? This is my first project, so use the code LIFTOFF to help us reach our goal even faster.
