When I saw the QBall on SharkTank, I knew I wanted one for my classroom. In the classroom, speaking and participating in conversations is constant. We ask students to answer questions, explain their thinking, share ideas, and so much more. As adults, we know how intimidating it can be to speak in front of a crowd, especially a crowd of peers. When students are asked or given the opportunity to share, some are hesitant, some freeze up, and some speak so quietly that their classmates cannot understand them. The QBall will help all students have a voice that can be heard and understood by everyone, while also creating a fun environment that encourages each student to participate. It will also help increase engagement, as students will enjoy throwing the ball around the classroom and want to get in on the fun! The wired soundbar will allow us to have the QBall hooked up to the speaker at all times so that we can use it at the drop of a...ball! With your help, my students will be able to boost their confidence while having fun participating in every day conversations!
