By integrating technology within the classroom educators prepare students for their future after high school. Introducing Amazon Fire Tablets will help prepare my students explore skills for online communication, project creation and capture their interests beyond our resources available now. Using tablets to better implement formative assessments by using quick exit tickets or gaming apps will help me determine the exact direction for future lessons. Ultimately, the world is changing, and digital literacy is a key skill students need to develop. The primary way to achieve my goal is by having access to technology within our classroom. Students can research their upcoming essays during the class time. This will help steer their approach in the correct direction. Students will also be able to work in groups to problem solve, using learning forms they have been exposed to. To increase the preparedness for their future these tablets will help us in a multitude of ways.
