These resources are unfortunately rare in the school I am teaching in. There are very few teachers with STEM kits, materials, or activities in my school. With these materials, I will be able to show my students that STEM activities are fun, challenging, and important. My coworkers will see the growth in my students, as well as the importance of STEM materials and activities. They will also see how much my students will enjoy their time with the materials. STEM activities teach students crucial thinking and creativity skills, and exposing my students to these skills at the early age of 7 and 8 will scaffold their ability to problem solve.
