Improve my students fluency and accuracy skills by allowing them learning opportunities. The learning center aligns perfectly with our new reading curriculum to reread loved stories and hear new ones. There are limited opportunities in my students environment to work with someone and learn life skills like, patience, collaboration and how to solve a problem. Providing this station will allow students to work together to choose a story, read it together and complete tasks that align with our weekly focuses. Through this center I expect to see an improvement in all students fluency and accuracy reading scores. Thank you in advance!
