Our school district is located in a very poor and rural part of southern Illinois. Within the past 10 years, our music program has been cut and reestablished. Our program currently does not own much percussion equipment (concert or marching). One of the many percussion items that we do not have is a concert bass drum nor do we have a stand for one. Our program is currently using 10+ year old marching bass drums at both our middle and high school in place of concert bass drums. Unfortunately, due to the poor and rural nature of the school district and surrounding area, our program barely gets enough money to purchase a piece or two of music each year. With your generous donation, you will immensely help support our music program as well as its fine students in our musical endeavours.
