The use of technology in the classroom is becoming a more and more common theme; however, many of my students' families are unable to afford up-to-date technology, the internet, or storage devices. Our school provides technological experience to students through the use of shared computer carts. Because computers are shared, students are not guaranteed the use of the same computer over the time span of an assignment or project. Providing students with personal flash drives will ensure they can access projects, Power Points, essays, and pamphlets, when computers are available. Students can focus on learning, not on storage of their work.
