Last year I developed a unit around bridges. Most parts of the unit went well. My students constructed bridges using straws and tape. I feel that if they had access to better materials they would have understood the concept of tension and suspicion more clearly. That is where the K'Nex sets would come in great use. I have also noticed that a good number of my students are interested in anatomy and biology. I would like to show them models that they can explore. I would use their curiosity to further their learning by presenting a project where they must come up with an artificial body part that might function. In 3rd grade we also learn about fractions. We have done an array city in the past and I think fraction city is a good way to differentiate learning for my
