Pinecrest is a K-12 behavior setting with 8 classrooms. We have students that traditional classroom settings do not support their behavioral needs. We are looking at different options to help make the students more comfortable than the traditional desk seating. Currently, we have to beg, borrow, and dumpster dive for desk, tables, and chairs. We have been given desks and tables that other educational settings in our district do not want or are broken. We are slowly trying to enhance and change each classroom to become more trauma-sensitive and supportive for our students. But do not have the resources or funding to support a major change in each classroom.
