My class needs these headphones so they won't distract others or be distracted. In my class, my students use the internet to find tutorials in order to learn about the technology in our class. They are all learning about different things, so it can be very distracting when multiple videos are playing at once. Often, my students also have video conferences and phone calls with our community partners and clients in order to work on projects for their community. These headphones will allow my students to watch videos or chat with a client or community partner without distracting the other students as they work.
