Everyday when students come to PE we always do a fitness activity. When the students are participating in our fitness activity I have music playing in the background as they exercise. Recently, my speaker blew out and I have been unable to get a new one. I have seen a dramatic drop-off in their activity levels and excitement without the music. I am looking to fund this project to replace my speaker so that I can get my students physical activity levels back to were they were a few weeks ago. I am requesting money to purchase a new speaker that is powerful, weather resistant, and rechargeable that can connect to my device. This will allow me to take it outside without worrying about power and weather ruining anything. Hopefully I can get back to using music as a motivator for my students.
