My children come from low income families where breakfast isn’t always a priority. Scholars come in distracted by thier hunger and struggle to concentrate on reading and writing. These snacks will help them to satisfy the hunger they face every day so they can focus in school knowing that we not only care about thier academic needs but also thier physical needs, thier social emotional need as well as thier ongoing daily needs. As a teacher I deal with the whole child because if they are lacking anything I feel it is my duty to help fill in the gaps.

About my class
