Choice reading is crucial to developing a life-long love for reading. However, with our campus library currently unavailable, many of my students lack access to new books. With this project, I am hoping to restock my classroom library for a choice-reading unit. Every book for this project was selected by the students, and will provide students both this year and moving forward with a much larger pool of options for choice reading, and a much larger perspective towards the ability for a good book not just to teach, but to empower. My goal is for every student to find a new love for reading.
