The Cricut Maker is an amazing tool for my students. The ways they can use it in the classroom are endless. Students can use it to cut simple letters and pictures all the way up to creating three dimensional projects out of paper, balsa wood, and fabric. The cartridges for the Maker Bot Replicator will give students a chance to design items in easy to use software and print it in three dimensions. These materials will give students an opportunity to put to use 21st Century skills, and to use current technology. They will be able to create both tangible objects from their ideas with the 3D printer and Cricut, but also use the Cricut to aid them in their end of year community showcases. Both the Cricut Maker die cut machine and the Maker Bot Replicator printer cartridges will allow students to take abstract ideas and create physical products to showcase their learning in fun and exciting new ways.
