Teaching 7th grade ELA in an ASD classroom can be challenging at times. Designing coherent instruction that addresses my students abilities is a practice I do daily. Having Chromebooks will allow for differentiated instruction that is designed for each student. Focusing on my students abilities allows them to succeed on every task they apply themselves to. It builds confidence that transfers to tasks that involve higher order thinking skills which could originally was challenging to my students with abilities. These computers will allow my students to advance in ways they never have before. Please consider my project and my students!
