Students in 3K are required to engage in 120 minutes of center time. During center time students receive a chance to learn through play. Including various manipulative helps enhance the quality of students' learning. Having a variety of manipulatives and toys provides students with a chance to make decisions on their own as to what item(s) they are going to play with. During center time I also receive a chance to conduct a small group activity. The small group activity align with developmental skills that are essential for growing toddlers. The art supplies are needed to help facilitate small groups. The art supplies also allow students to get creative and display their uniqueness.
