These activities will enhance the hands on classroom that I strive to create. These new experiences are designed for students to plan, design, and engage in their own learning. The students will have math, science, art, and English hands on materials that will entice them to create, design and build. With these new activities, students will be able to create enriching learning opportunities independently. They will be able to choose what design they want to create through building bridges, houses, and vehicles. Then students will have the materials to design it and build it. My students have shown a huge interest in creating things by themselves. All these activities allow independent work to be done through open ended design or self correcting materials.
