Students need more opportunities to participate in activities involving innovation where they can be inquisitive, imaginative and creative. Makerspace will foster interactive learning which will result in a shift from passive participants to active creators and problem solvers. Having the materials available for students to collaboratively work with peers, planning and designing to solve problems and sharing their creations and results will help them in the future real world. Students will be allowed without the usual academic restraints to experiment and apply what they learn. Our students will benefit from advancing their problem-solving skills which will be useful in all areas of their futures.
