I am seeking to enrich my classroom with fun literacy games and materials. By increasing the amount of tangible play in the classroom, I expect an increase in student engagement and literacy. Student engagement is key to literacy success. The Flex-Space chairs will give independent readers a chance to fully focus on the text rather than comfort. The headphones will supply students with the technology necessary to accomplish online reading goals. The Social Studies Resource Box will supply our classroom with needed literature and skill-building activities to help build understanding. Lastly, students will be able to reinforce learning through play with varied literacy games.

About my class
