Technology is a beautiful thing! There are so many apps and resources available today that are tailored to supporting students with speech and language challenges such as auditory processing, articulation, basic concepts, matching skills, vocabulary, picture description, grammatical markers, sentence structure, phonemic awareness, reading and listening comprehension, narratives, pragmatic skills, assistive tech/alternate modes of communication - just to name a few. At our elementary school, the iPad will be utilized by my students who are highly motivated by technology for therapy practice, as an incentive reward, for assessment purposes, and for trialing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) applications. Your support and donations will impact my caseload of students in such a positive way!
