My students are a talented, dynamic group of inner-city youth from South Dallas. I teach a very diverse population, in of which 98% are low income. They are excited teens that want to learn new processes and techniques in art. My students are learning to express themselves through their artwork and speak power and healing to their thoughts and conditions. I teach a population of hard-working students who enthusiastically engage in creation despite limited supplies. They are inspired and energetic with a desire to learn all that they can about the world of art.
