We will take 50 of our 4th grade students to Austin, TX to experience the history of our state. The trip will include visits to the Texas State Capitol, Bullock State History Museum, and Texas State Cemetery. In 4th grade, we study state history, but many of our students have never traveled outside of the Dallas area. Our school will use the funds to provide scholarships to students who are not financially able to pay for the trip. The cost of the trip includes transportation, meals, entrance to the historic sites/museums, a t shirt, and a souvenir for students. We are excited for our first trip to Austin!
