My student's favorite part of the day is read aloud. During this time, we are sitting together as we read stories that touch upon a variety of diverse topics. Living in such a diverse area, the students need to be exploring books that are relatable to themselves and the world around them. Books that I have selected for our classroom will help the students discover the beauty in diversity as we explore different cultures, traditions, and languages. I am so excited to provide my students the materials needed not only to advance their literacy exposure, but bring in social studies into the classroom as well.

About my class
