Our projects are based on a collaborative learning model, which allows girls to collaborate with other girls across grade levels on our first project to Mars. For our first project, we have decided to design and simulate an all-female Mars Colony. We will be designing a Mars Colony, building a Martian Greenhouse, and designing a Martian Space suit, all while adding our SheSharks Girl power! Throughout all of our projects, we support Social Emotional Learning including Growth Mindset and healthy female relationships. The resources we are asking for include a grow light and greenhouse to create a Martian habitat, solar panels for our colony, and solar powered car kits to work on Martian transportation.
