We are officially Science Olympiad Beginners and I'd love to have the tools to ready our students for Engineering/Knowledge Based Competitions. Help me create a dream job for students while showing them that nerdy is cool! Our students are engineering, innovative, and creative minded that love to be given challenges and compete. Help bring the love of Science to our students. Science Olympiad is nationally known for out of the box, investigations that are student created, while assessing solutions and giving a love of science and mathematics. All of the items chosen for this grant are needed to prepare students for any event/competition they choose to be in. The more events my students are ready for, the more points we get and the more hands-on experience they receive. Events include: crime busters, pH labs to depict poison vs potion, creating monoplanes, solving light and optics missions, and much more. With readily having a beginning portion of items for students to start exploration with, we are able to build off of these items as we compete. Nearly half of my students have gained interest in competing with engineering/math related competitions. Help spread the bug!
